Welcome to the site of the Milimail project, which aims to develop under public licence (MPL version 1.1, GPL version 2.0 and LGPL version 2.1) extensions for the Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0 e-mail client.
Each extension provides Thunderbird 2.0 with an extra feature:
- Function added:
- Message Delivery Notification (MDN),
- Delivery Status Notification (DSN),
- Security like triple wrapping,
- ...
- XSMTP protocol management module included limitation of message size,
- processing of message priority at envelope level,

Milimail Project works with Mozilla Fondation in order to integrate most of milimail extensions in the core product.
This project, initiated by the DGA, is backed by the French Ministry of Defence and BT.
